When Etymon’s Petit Loulou, the beloved French boulangerie from Milsons Point, launched its second location in Sydney’s Martin Place, it wanted to bring a taste of Paris to the heart of the city.
So to celebrate, we created a five-day croissant giveaway, offering freshly baked, signature French butter croissants free with any coffee purchase. The promotion created a daily rush, with lines wrapping around Martin Place as people flocked to indulge in the treats.
The giveaway not only built an early customer base but allowed Example to drive a robust press office, garnering significant press coverage, with social media editors capturing the bustling queues to fuel further buzz. Ahead of launch, Example curated boxes of Petit Loulou’s best pastries to land on media desks, giving a sneak peek taste to encourage additional press.
